Terms of Engagement

Last updated: 3 August 2026

Submitting a website form does not create a lawyer-client relationship. A formal engagement begins only when both sides sign written terms.

No Win, No Fee

For eligible matters, Crypto Juris may act on a No Win, No Fee basis. That means no upfront payment is required to begin a serious assessment, and success fees are defined in the engagement letter by reference to recovered assets or agreed outcomes. Unsuccessful eligible matters under that model do not trigger the success fee.

No guarantees

Cryptocurrency recovery is uncertain. Blockchain visibility does not equal recoverability. We will not promise results we cannot responsibly deliver.

Client duties

You must provide accurate information, preserve evidence, and never share private keys or seed phrases with anyone claiming to represent us.

Jurisdiction restriction

Due to international regulatory requirements, we do not accept clients who are citizens or permanent residents of the United States, Germany, Italy, or France.

Governing framework

Professional conduct follows Swiss Bar rules applicable to our attorneys in the Canton of Jura. Specific mandate terms control if they differ from this overview.
